When I looked at the calendar this morning, I realized that the end of this semester for university is right around the corner. Since the end of this semester will mark the end of my first year in university, I am actually quite excited about having the summer off so that I can recharge my batteries and be ready to kick off my second year in the fall. Once this semester does completely come to an end, I will be returning back to live with my parents in their home for the summer. A lot of people don’t like going back to live with their parents, but since I know this is just a temporary phase, I’m excited about getting to eat all of the great food my Mom loves to cook.

The only thing standing in between me and my time back home is the final examinations that so many people dread. While I have plenty of friends who are absolutely dreading their final examinations, I have stayed on top of my studies this semester, so I am actually really confident about how I am going to do. As an incentive to finish the semester on a strong note, I have made plans for something that will happen once summer gets started. Along with a mate from my home of Luton, I will have a Luton car hire reserved for the beginning of summer. Having the Luton car hire will give us the ability to take a road trip and kick off the summer in a fun way. The great thing about my friend is that although we go to different universities, as soon as we see each other, we pick up like we never left off, which is why this road trip will be so much fun.
