Luton is, of course, the home of one of the busiest airports in the country. As with any airport, the likelihood is that a majority of the people flying out of the country are going to want to stay overnight in Luton. This is understandable; particularly with an early flight, if you are travelling to the airport on the day of the flight then you will be shattered and lose a day after arrival; travelling is very tiring. Not to mention the additional stress incurred when you are rushing to catch the flight – not what you want when you’re about to set off on a trip abroad!

If you are, therefore, going to take the sensible option and stay overnight in Luton, the benefits are numerous. You can wake up and have a good breakfast before driving leisurely to the airport to catch your plane. Obviously, if you are sleeping overnight in a hotel in Luton you’re going to need somewhere to park the car and, given the precarious nature of leaving a car parked on the road, the best option is to use one of the many car parks throughout the city. They are secured throughout the night so there are no fears over the safety of your car, meaning that you can have a relaxing night’s sleep before your flight. Also, the price of a space is very low – certainly lower than the cost of getting a train to the airport on the day of your flight, and you have the added comfort of being completely self-reliant in your journey.
